What is included in the National Powersports Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program?
First, the bike is put through our inspection process, which includes the following:
- - New Hampshire State Inspection
- - Repair of minor issues preventing the bike from passing inspection
- - Test drive (2-6 miles depending on weather)
- - Documentation of visible mechanical conditions
- - Estimated cost of repair of major issues
- - Documentation of all accessories
- - Documentation of all options
- - Wash and cleaning of bike
- - California emissions check if under 7500mi
- - Key, tool kit and owners manual verification
- - Installation of a battery tender lead for easy charging
The CPO program also includes the following:
- o Change oil and filter
- o Flush brake fluids
- o Flush transmission oil (if applicable)
- o Flush primary oil and adjust primary chain (if applicable)
- o Flush final drive oil (if applicable)
- o Lube and adjust chain (if applicable)
- o Flush clutch fluid (if applicable)
- o Check steering stem bearings and adjust if necessary
- o Lube and adjust all cables
- o Service the clutch (dry clutch only)
- o Check air filters, clean/replace if necessary
- o Set tire pressures
- o Tighten nuts and bolts
- o Check for oil leaks
- o Clean battery terminals
- o Tighten spokes (if applicable)
- o Check coolant, flush if necessary
- o Adjust carburetors if necessary
- o Additional test drive
- o Lube locks
- o Thorough 14 step detailing process including buffing of paint
- o A 90-Day warranty good anywhere in the United States and Canada*
