Description

Our 1996 Harley Davidson XL883 Sportster Hugger has HD accessory slip-on exhaust pipes and chrome aftermarket saddlebag stays. This bike has been put through the National Powersports Inspection process only. This process includes a New Hampshire state inspection, test drive, a wash and basic mechanical and cosmetic reports. The results of this are listed below.

This bike does not pass New Hampshire State Inspection due to leaking fork seals and the neutral light not functioning. We installed battery tender leads for easy battery charger hook-up. There is oil leaking from both the front and rear sections of the motor. The front cylinder head has been re-welded at the motor mount.

Cosmetic Condition

There is a rusted chip on the rear part of the front fender. There is a 5" crack on the right side of the rear fender. Some of the chrome is peeling on the transmission case. The exhaust pipes are rusty.

Title

In New Hampshire, any vehicle 15 years and older, or under 50cc, is considered exempt and will not be issued a title. This is pursuant to RSA 261:3 of the Motor Vehicle Laws of the State of New Hampshire. The RSA reads, "No title or duplicate title will be issued on any exempt vehicle, even by request". This does not mean that you will not be able to title this vehicle in your state! Check with your department of motor vehicles about your specific state requirements. We are an official N.H. motorcycle dealership and inspection station and in most cases can provide all the necessary documents for you to title and register this vehicle in your state. ATTENTION CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS - California law requires that all new and used vehicles with under 7500 miles to be equipped with California emissions. This vehicle has in excess of 7500 miles so you will be able to title and register this vehicle in your state. Please check with your local DMV for more information.

NH State Inspection

ATTN NEW HAMPSHIRE RESIDENTS: This vehicle does not pass New Hampshire State Inspection. You will still be able to register it, but you will need to correct the items specified for a NH inspection sticker. Please see the mechanical condition notes above for further details.

ATTN: CANADIAN BUYERS

We are happy to sell to Canadian citizens and have a broad understanding of the process of importing vehicles from the States. We offer in house shipping on this bike into Canada or will be more than happy to work with you or your shipper for pick up at our shop. Our shipping charges are as follows; New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Ontario for $649. Quebec for $699. Manitoba for $749. Saskatchewan for $799. Alberta and British Columbia for $899. We will make all the necessary arrangements and deliver the bike to your residence. You will pay the RIV fee, GST(Goods and Services Tax), QST(Quebec Sales Tax) or HST(Harmonized Sales Tax) as applicable in your province (see www.riv.ca for fee schedule). These fees will be arranged and/or paid through the shipping broker along with the brokerage fee (varies from $125 to $175) via credit card. Payment Terms

A $250 deposit is acceptable to initiate a purchase. Unless otherwise agreed upon, the full balance is to be paid within 7 days of deposit and the bike is to be shipped or picked up within 10. We accept certified bank checks, money orders, bank to bank wire transfers, and of course cash in person. Credit cards and PayPal are only accepted for the $250 deposit. We cannot take either method for the full payment amount.

Shipping

These shipping charges do not apply to oversized vehicles such as ATV's, Goldwings, Dressers, Choppers, etc. Those vehicles will require uncrated shipping which we can quote on a case by case basis.
